Dr. Yu is specialized in custom fit ortho-K lenses, an area she has been working in for 13 years. She has successfully designed lenses to correct high prescription myopia (-10D and above) as well as high astigmatism. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. The results of Dr. Yu's ortho-K lenses are guaranteed to help patients achieve best possible vision. She is also experienced in specialty lens fitting for people with presbyopia and keratoconus.

Dr. Yu enjoys long-distance running in her spare time and has participated in many local running events such as the Vancouver Sun Run and Vancouver half marathon. On her days off, she enjoys hiking up the Grouse Grind. Dr. Yu speaks fluent Mandarin and some Cantonese. She loves the multi-cultural environment of the Vancouver area and is happy to serve people of all origins.
